The rules that govern your access to and use of Hagglebop.

Welcome to Hagglebop. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hagglebop website and related services (the “Platform”). By accessing or using Hagglebop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Platform and eligibility
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hagglebop. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. Platform Role
Hagglebop is a neutral online venue that allows users to post listings and connect with one another. Hagglebop:
- Does not buy, sell, resell, broker, store, inspect, verify, ship, or deliver any goods or services
- Is not a party to any transaction between users
- Is not a marketplace facilitator, dealer, agent, or escrow service
All transactions occur solely between users. Hagglebop assumes no responsibility for any agreement, exchange, payment, dispute, loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from user interactions.
Your responsibilities
3. User Responsibility and Compliance With Laws
Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Users may only list, offer, or trade items or services that are legal in their jurisdiction. If state laws conflict, users agree to comply with the most restrictive applicable law. Hagglebop does not guarantee that listings comply with any law and assumes no responsibility for user compliance.
7. Community Standards
Hagglebop is intended to foster a respectful and responsible community. Users agree to:
- Communicate honestly and respectfully
- Accurately represent items or services
- Act in good faith
We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that undermine the integrity of the Platform.
4. Prohibited Listings
Users may not post, list, or trade:
- Illegal goods or services
- Controlled substances
- Stolen property
- Counterfeit goods
- Hazardous materials
- Adult services
- Firearms, weapons, or related accessories
- Any item prohibited by applicable law
We reserve the right to remove listings or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
Safety and risk
5. No Verification; Use at Your Own Risk
Hagglebop does not verify user identities, listings, or the accuracy of information posted on the Platform. Hagglebop does not conduct background checks, criminal screenings, or identity verification of users. You acknowledge that interacting with individuals met online carries inherent risk, including risk of fraud, financial loss, property damage, or personal injury. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.
6. Assumption of Risk and Release
By using Hagglebop, you assume all risks associated with communications, meetings, and transactions arranged through the Platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Hagglebop and its owners from any and all claims, demands, damages, disputes, or liabilities arising out of or related to interactions or transactions between users.
10. In-Person Meetings
Hagglebop does not supervise or participate in in-person meetings between users. If you choose to meet in person, you do so at your own risk. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety precautions, including meeting in public locations and verifying items before completing a transaction.
Platform operations
8. No Duty to Monitor
Hagglebop has no obligation to monitor user activity or listings. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, or restrict content at our discretion. Hagglebop is an interactive computer service provider under applicable law and is not liable for content provided by users.
9. User Disputes
Hagglebop is not responsible for resolving disputes between users. We may review complaints regarding violations of these Terms but are not obligated to mediate or intervene. Users agree to resolve disputes directly with one another.
11. Advertising
Hagglebop generates revenue through third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense. We do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
Legal terms
12. Intellectual Property
All Platform content excluding user-submitted listings is the property of Hagglebop and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without written permission.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” Hagglebop makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or suitability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hagglebop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from use of the Platform. Hagglebop's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount paid by you to use the Platform in the preceding 12 months.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hagglebop and its owners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
16. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Collin County, Texas. You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration. If arbitration is found unenforceable, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie in the state courts located in Collin County, Texas.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
18. Force Majeure
Hagglebop shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, acts of God, government action, natural disasters, or third-party service disruptions.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hagglebop regarding use of the Platform.
21. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time if a user violates these Terms or poses risk to the Platform or its community.
22. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
